Wimbledon Inspired Outfits For Summer

Wimbledon is here, and what better excuse to crack open the Pimms and gorge on strawberries? Wimbledon's all-white dress code is one of the most famous in sport, so we've decided it's time to embrace the white tonal look and create your own fresh looking ensembles for summer. Here's how to ace it like a pro…

1) Mix Up The Tones

Mix Up The Tones

We know we said all white, but we're not going to get all Hawk-Eye over your tones, you can mix in a few creamier hues to keep it looking interesting. Either pick a pair of cream jeans to wear with a white tee, or mix a beige pair of shorts with a cream top; there are lots of different combos you can play with here.

2) The White Dress

There is nothing more elegant than a simple white dress. Whether you're heading to SW19 or not, take a leaf out of the classic Wimbledon goer's style book, with a white shirt dress or a wrap dress. Pair it with gold jewellery, including one of our watches, beige sandals or espadrilles and a beaded handbag to give it a current edge.

3) White Tailoring

Yes, you can do head to toe white suiting without looking like you're going to dinner on the high seas. Male or female, linen is a great fabric for summer. Short suits are also a good idea in hotter weather, they look chic with heels for women, while men can rock them with a pair of slip-ons.

4) Denim

White denim is everywhere this season, with retro shapes given a summer refresh in lighter tones. Ladies, choose a pair of cropped jeans to wear with strappy white sandals and tuck in a cream silk cami. Men, try some white cuffed jeans with a white tee and break up the silhouette with a skinny brown belt.

5) Sheer

Sheer, gauzy fabrics are another season favourite, and they look extra elegant in white. Choose a pair of thin floaty trousers and tuck in a sheer blouse or shirt to keep it elegant. Wear a swimsuit or bodysuit underneath to make sure it's still Wimbledon chic.
