Men's A/W Trends To Shop Now
August 05, 2019

We're not saying you need to pack up your summer wear just yet, but now is a great time to start prepping for autumn/winter. Get ahead of the fashion crowd and start working a few of these trends into your wardrobe.
1) Leather Up
If you've not got a leather jacket in your wardrobe yet, now is the time to bring this staple into rotation. It's going to be a big trend this autumn/winter, so there will be loads of styles to choose from in the shops already. This classic will stay stylish season after season, but choose a bomber jacket if you want a more current, casual feel, or go all out trendsetting in a leather trench.
2) Suits You
You may have been rocking the pastel suit for weddings and summer soirées, but tailoring is going dark as the nights draw in. Sumptuous velvet suits will come into play for the festive season, but the all-black suit is also making a comeback. Slouchy silhouettes keep the look relaxed, while tuxedo types keep things dapper for your cold-weather events.
3) Big Boots
Big boots are back, and they're the ideal piece to buy now for those days when the temperature drops and catches you off guard. The heavy-duty style takes on several incarnations, from chunky Chelsea boots to stocky cowboy boots. Wear yours with slim tailoring to hit all the right fashion notes for autumn.
4) Double Denim
No, we're not channelling Justin Timberlake from the 90s, but we are doing head to toe denim for autumn/winter. This is a new take on sportswear meets tailoring, whether it's oversized jackets and jeans or slim-cut jeans with a tucked in denim shirt.
5) Feline Good
You may have noticed leopard print taking over womenswear for the past few seasons, and it has finally prowled into the men's collections. It's a tricky one to wear, but take your cue from the women's trend and treat it as a neutral, think leopard tees paired with leather jackets and jeans, or a light leopard knit layered between tailoring.
