The Items Influencers Cannot Live Without

We're used to looking at catwalks and street style to predict all the up and coming trends, but these days the influencers of Instagram have as much trendsetting power as any designer, celebrity or magazine.

We've been scrolling our feeds to find the latest trends and upcoming must-haves, curating a list of essentials that are influencer approved. These are our favourite picks your can expect to see in the social media galleries of 2019.

1) The Headband

The Headband

Headbands get a dose of luxury in the latest accessory trend to sweep the internet by storm. Inspired by the likes of Prada and Dior in their SS19 catwalk collections, the headband is set to become one of the key items for this year. Look for bands in velvet, silk and with sparkly embellishments to keep your look regal.

2) Bias Cut Skirt

Bias Cut Skirt

Topshop's bias cut skirt claimed cult status late last year - the retailer released it in several colourways and patterns, and most sold out in a moment. Why? Because the silky bias skirt is a great wardrobe staple. It'll stay classic in shades of navy, black and nude, or you can look to animal prints and polka dots for a more on-trend feel. Pair yours with anything from trainers and knitwear to camisoles and knee-high boots.

3) Hairclips

Hairclips started appearing on every feed late last year, and they're only going to get more popular. Slogan clips continue our love for statement tees and sweaters while oozing designer vibes, and sparkly designs are perfect for injecting a little glam into any outfit whether it's daytime or night. Layer them up to create a unique look worthy of any influencer feed.

4) Jewellery For Layering

Bloggers such as Lucy Williams are constantly giving us jewellery box envy. Take your cue from Williams' own collection for Missoma and invest in pieces that you can layer or wear alone. This season, we'll be seeing a lot of shells and seaside motifs, some diamanté details, and the continuation of last summer's Romanesque luxury pieces. Our petite range will finish off your collection with pure class.

5) The Statement Dress

The Statement Dress

Whatever the weather outside, the statement dress is a must-have piece for any style influencer. This spring is set to favour florals and prairie dresses with ruffles and broderie anglaise, but you cannot go wrong with a wrap dress… the beachside setting for a photo is optional but it definitely helps to finish the look.
