Instagram Brands To Shop Now
April 29, 2019
Instagram is no longer just about sharing the odd travel photo and plate of food, it's now a launching platform for many independent and exciting brands. Designer profiles often offer more than your standard retail website, with styling inspiration, photos from customers and lots of visual fodder that is way more interesting than your average product shot.
But it takes a lot to sift through the millions to find the gems, so we've done it for you, rounding up the brands we believe are set to soar this year.
The Oli ring was everywhere over Christmas, with lots of influencers and their followers falling for Daphine while trying to get their hands on this chunky treasure. With everything from baroque style pearl hoops to gold statement pieces, this jewellery brand is one to watch. They're also really affordable considering they use real gold and silver, so you can buy some investment pieces without having to part with too much cash.
2) Frisson Knits
Knitwear has been getting all nostalgic recently with the likes of Ganni and Rouje creating pretty pastel knits that look like they're straight out of our infant years. Frisson Knits bring the vintage knitwear feel to another level, with chunky, oversized jumpers in all sorts of colours. They're hand knitted in New Zealand and made with locally sourced fibres such as kid mohair. They even create off the shoulder and cropped knits so you can still rock them in warmer weather.
3) The Five
Scandi style rules the Instagram feed, and one of our favourite brands is The Five. With colour block suiting coming back into style this season, they are the perfect place to hit up for rainbow tailoring, as every collection is based around a type of suit. They release one collection a year, split into two seasons, it's all handmade in Amsterdam and they're a favourite with lots of the Copenhagen style set.
Pattern lovers, rejoice, French brand Hôtel is bringing all the ditsy prints, embroidered fabrics and retro patterns you could ask for. This sustainable brand takes one of a kind fabrics, such as old hotel curtains and vintage embroidery to hand make "unique, artisanal pieces". It's oh so French and oh so fabulous.
5) Delfi Collective
Bringing the glam to the 'gram, Delfi Collective is an LA label that packs in the personality with statement pieces that are perfect for parties and elevated daytime styling. Feathers, sequins, silks and metallics always feature heavily in their collections, bringing some of those Hollywood vibes to your wardrobe.
